Effective Processor Units (EPUs - EPU pronounced like CPU) are a computational value which governs the overall computing capacity of a Host, Physical Computer, or Server Configuration. The default value for these units are derived with the following formula:
EPUs = Speed of CPU(s) in GHz * the number of cores * 100
For example, a 2.5 GHz Quad-core host would have 1000 EPUs (2.5 * 4 * 100 = 1000 EPUs).
